About UmanDiagnostics
UmanDiagnostics, a Quanterix company, specializes in neurofilament light (NF-L) biomarker solutions. We supply high-quality NF-Light™ antibodies and ELISA kits that are widely used by researchers, as well as biopharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, to support the development of diagnostics and therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases.
Founded in 2006 as a spin-off from Umeå University by Niklas Norgren and Torgny Stigbrand, UmanDiagnostics has played an important role in the early development of NF-L as a biomarker. Our first product, the NF-Light ELISA for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), was the world’s first commercially available NF-L assay for clinical use and received CE marking in 2014.
Today, as part of Quanterix, UmanDiagnostics continues to deliver trusted, high-performance solutions that help advance neuroscience research and clinical diagnostics. For our customers, this means confidence and continuity – reliable tools that enable accurate diagnosis, accelerate development, and ultimately may help improve quality of life.
